The National Dangerous Drugs Control Board (NDDCB) is a Statutory Board established under the National Dangerous Drugs Control Board Act No. 11 of 1984.

It came into operation on 9th April 1984. The National Dangerous Drugs Control Board Act No. 11 was subsequently amended by the National Dangerous Drugs Control Board (amendment) Acts No. 41 of 1986 and No. 21 of 1990.
