Undergraduate Symposium on Drug-Related Studies 2026
The Undergraduate Symposium on Drug-Related Studies 2026, organized by the National Dangerous Drugs Control Board (NDDCB),
is a dynamic academic platform dedicated to empowering emerging scholars in the field of drug prevention, treatment,
and control. Held in parallel with the 4th International Symposium on Drug-Related Studies 2026 in Colombo,
the symposium brings together undergraduate students from diverse disciplines to present innovative,
evidence-based research addressing drug-related challenges.
The symposium will feature four thematic tracks:
• Track 1: Drug Prevention and Community Interventions;
• Track 2: Treatment, Rehabilitation, and Recovery;
• Track 3: Scientific Analysis of Drugs (Chemistry and Physics Perspectives)
• Track 4: Trends, Behavioral Patterns, and Social Dynamics of Drug Use.
This platform provides a unique opportunity for undergraduate researchers to
engage with academics, professionals, and policymakers, fostering knowledge exchange,
critical thinking, and interdisciplinary collaboration. The symposium aims to inspire
future researchers while contributing to evidence-based solutions for addressing
substance use and its broader societal impact.
