Please consider the following instructions before submitting your application.
Applications must be perfected strictly online.
Carefully read and understand the instructions given herein or in the Gazette pertaining to
the post you intend to apply for and perfect the application.
In case you are applying for several posts, submit separate applications for each.
The following instructions should be followed when perfecting the application;
The application must be perfected strictly in the English medium.
Please select your applicant type (select only one).
Permanent employees serving at the National Dangerous Drugs Control Board (NDDCB) at present fall under "Internal Applicant."
All other applicants are considered as "External Applicants.”
Secondly, in case you require to sit for the examination for recruitment, accurately select the medium in which you wish to sit for the examination (Only one medium can be requested). The medium cannot be changed after submitting the application under no circumstance.
Thirdly, the relevant particulars should be completed accurately from No: 1-5 of the application.
The post you apply for should be indicated accurately in No: 1 of the application under "Post Applied For" (English advertisement should be referred).
The admission card/letters of calling for the interview will be sent to the temporary address.
Only the permanent employees of the NDDCB are not required to pay the application fee and it is compulsory for all the other external applicants to pay an application fee of Rs. 500/-.
In case you are applying for several posts, application fees must be paid separately for the respective posts.
The following instructions should be followed when paying the application fee;
The payment should be made to the account maintained at the Bank of Ceylon, Corporate Branch under the name "National Dangerous Drugs Control Board” and Account No. 00001643 (Payment can be made online or via CDMA method to the aforementioned account of the Board). A copy of the deposit slip should be kept with you and the post you apply for should be indicated at the top of the original deposit slip in clear hand writing strictly using a blue pen and it should be attached to the application.
The application fee is non-refundable.
The following instructions should be followed when completing No: 6 of the application;
Bank Name - Name of the Bank where the payment was made
Branch - Branch of the bank where the payment was made
Account Number - If payment was made online, indicate the relevant account number (If paid via CDMA or at the bank, indicate the number 00001643).
Transaction ID / Reference No (if applicable) - If payment was made online or at the bank, indicate its printed number. If payment was made via CDMA, indicate its printed number.
After using the "Submit Application" Tab to complete the application, its copy should be downloaded and the original payment slip should be attached to its hard copy.
No changes can be made after submitting the application. If you make any changes to the downloaded application form, such applications will be rejected.
Applicants serving in Government Departments/Corporations/Statutory Boards must submit their applications with the approval of the Head of the respective Institution/Department.
You must sign a declaration stating that the information provided in the application is true and accurate and that you understand that the application may be rejected or employment may be terminated if any false information is revealed subsequently.
The post applied for must be clearly indicated at the top left-hand corner of the envelope and the copies of the relevant certificates should be sent through registered post to reach "Chairman, National Dangerous Drugs Control Board, No: 383, Kotte Road, Rajagiriya” before the closing date of applications.

- Applications that do not meet the required qualifications by the closing date/ incomplete applications/ applications to which the original deposit slip is not attached/ applications which are not perfected online and downloaded/ applications that do not include the
copies of the relevant certificates and applications received after the closing date will be rejected without notice.
